What ClickBoss reads from Google Ads

All data is read-only. ClickBoss never modifies bids, pauses keywords, or changes anything in your Google Ads account.

How to connect

  1. Go to Settings in your ClickBoss workspace.
  2. Under Integrations, click Connect next to Google Ads.
  3. You will be redirected to Google to authorise access.
  4. Sign in with the Google account that has access to your Google Ads account.
  5. Grant the requested permissions and return to ClickBoss.
  6. Select which Google Ads accounts to include.
If you use a manager account (MCC), you can connect at the manager level and select individual accounts underneath it.

Permissions required

ClickBoss requests read-only access. The Google account used to connect must have at least Read-only access to the Google Ads accounts you want to include.

Frequently asked questions

Can I connect a Google Ads manager account (MCC)? Yes. Connect at the MCC level and then select the individual client accounts you want ClickBoss to pull data from. Does ClickBoss support Performance Max campaigns? Yes. ClickBoss pulls Performance Max campaign data at the campaign level. Granular asset-level breakdowns depend on what Google Ads makes available through its API. Why does spend in ClickBoss differ from what I see in Google Ads? Check that your workspace timezone matches your Google Ads account timezone. Also confirm you are comparing the same date ranges. Google Ads rounds some figures differently depending on currency. Can I disconnect Google Ads? Yes. Go to Settings > Integrations and click Disconnect. Historical synced data is retained.
