How to connect

  1. Go to Settings in your ClickBoss workspace.
  2. Under Integrations, click Connect next to Meta Ads.
  3. You will be redirected to Meta to authorise access.
  4. Log in with the account that has access to the ad accounts you want to use.
  5. Grant the requested permissions and return to ClickBoss.
  6. Select the ad accounts you want to include.
If you manage multiple ad accounts under a Business Manager, you can select which ones to connect.

Permissions required

ClickBoss requests read-only access to your ad accounts. You do not need to grant any permissions beyond viewing ads and insights. The Meta login must have at least Advertiser access to the ad accounts you want to connect.

What ClickBoss uses this data for

Meta Ads data powers several parts of ClickBoss:
  • Morning briefing — ROAS drops, spend anomalies, and creative fatigue flags
  • Playbooks — Creative performance analysis, budget pacing checks, CPA monitoring
  • MER calculation — Meta spend is included in total marketing spend when calculating your blended MER
  • Investigation — Ask questions like “which Meta campaigns are underperforming versus last month?”

Frequently asked questions

Can I connect multiple Meta ad accounts? Yes. You can connect multiple ad accounts from the same Business Manager or different ones. Select all the accounts you want during the connection flow. What attribution window does ClickBoss use? ClickBoss pulls the data Meta reports, which defaults to a 7-day click and 1-day view attribution window. If you use a different window in Meta, the numbers in ClickBoss will reflect that. My data looks different from what I see in Meta Ads Manager. Meta data can differ slightly depending on attribution settings and reporting timezone. Check that your ClickBoss workspace timezone matches your Meta account timezone. Can I disconnect Meta Ads? Yes. Go to Settings > Integrations and click Disconnect next to Meta Ads. This removes the connection but does not delete historical data already synced.
