What ClickBoss reads from Shopify

How to connect
- Go to Settings in your ClickBoss workspace.
- Under Integrations, click Connect next to Shopify.
- Enter your Shopify store URL (for example,
yourstore.myshopify.com). - You will be redirected to Shopify to authorise the connection.
- Review the permissions and click Install app.
- You will be returned to ClickBoss with the store connected.
Permissions required
ClickBoss installs as a private app on your Shopify store with read-only permissions covering orders, products, and analytics. No write permissions are requested. You must be a Shopify store owner or have staff access with sufficient permissions to install apps.What ClickBoss uses this data for
- Morning briefing — Revenue vs target, MER trends, and order volume anomalies
- MER calculation — Shopify revenue is the numerator in your blended MER (total revenue divided by total ad spend across Meta and Google)
- Playbooks — Product performance analysis, MER monitoring, funnel drop-off tracking
- Investigation — Ask questions like “how does this week’s revenue compare to last week?” or “which products are driving the most revenue right now?”
